HR Officer

About the role

Kingdom Precast Solutions is seeking an HR Officer to lead and develop its Human Resources function. You will manage employee matters for both permanent and casual staff, ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws, and support the company’s growth in the manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee records, attendance, leave, disciplinary processes and welfare programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions and separations.
• Establish and operationalise the HR department, designing systems, procedures, forms and reporting structures.
• Develop, review and implement the HR policies and procedures manual.
• Lead recruitment, selection and onboarding, maintaining a database of casual and skilled labour.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and performance appraisal processes.
• Prepare HR reports, monitor metrics and ensure statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (HR option), Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in HR management or administration.
• Knowledge of the Kenyan Employment Act, Labour Relations Act and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Professional HR certification such as CHRP(K) is an advantage.

• Competitive salary ranging from KES 45,000 to KES 60,000 per month.
