Human Resource Intern

About the role

The Partnership Agency is looking for a full-time Human Resource Intern in Meru. The intern supports the HR team across recruitment, onboarding, administration, employee engagement and policy compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment support: post job openings on job portals and social media, screen resumes, shortlist candidates, schedule interviews and help conduct initial HR interviews
• Onboarding and employee records: assist in onboarding new hires (documentation, orientation), maintain employee records and HR databases, and keep files updated and organized
• HR administration: support day-to-day HR operations, prepare offer letters, contracts and reports, and help with payroll data preparation where applicable
• Employee engagement: help organize events, support internal communication initiatives and assist with surveys and feedback collection
• Policy and compliance: help ensure HR policies are followed and assist in updating HR policies and handbooks

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources
• Basic understanding of HR principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time-management abilities
• Attention to detail and confidentiality

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
