Human Resource Officer

About the role

The Human Resource Officer will manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes for middle and junior positions within a manufacturing and warehousing environment. The role ensures alignment with company policies, statutory requirements and supports data‑driven HR decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for middle and junior cadre positions, including candidate communication, interview scheduling and pre‑employment checks.
• Maintain an efficient HR filing system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Administer employee exit processes in compliance with Kenyan labour legislation.
• Ensure continuous compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Lead or participate in HR projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Prepare and collate HR data for monthly management review reports and probationary reports.
• Generate daily attendance reports and analyse HR data to identify trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 3 years of HR experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan labour law and statutory requirements.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Experience with HR systems or payroll software (advantage).
