Human Resources Business Partner – Regional

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to the regional leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business goals, driving talent strategy, and supporting M&A integration across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional Director on workforce planning, organization design, and talent strategy to meet regional growth and margin targets.
• Own regional people‑metrics reporting (turnover, engagement, staffing) and advise senior HR leadership on trends and actions.
• Lead change‑management initiatives such as restructures, new location openings, and system rollouts.
• Interview and assess candidates for key regional hires and act as the primary evaluator in the selection process.
• Manage escalated employee‑relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with multi‑state employment laws.
• Support wage‑and‑hour audits, compensation programs, and regional training initiatives in partnership with L&D.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or Organizational Development.
• SHRM‑SCP or SPHR preferred; SHRM‑CP/PHR acceptable with strong regional HR leadership experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including direct advisory to senior or regional leaders.
• Multi‑site or multi‑state HR experience with solid knowledge of employment law.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership in a matrixed environment and travel 25–35% of the time.
