Human Resources Director – Strategic Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Director will serve as a strategic business partner and member of the Executive Committee, shaping and executing the bank’s human capital strategy in line with its corporate goals, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a 3‑5‑year talent and workforce strategy supporting digital transformation and business expansion.
• Lead workforce planning, scenario modelling and talent analytics to inform board‑level decisions on headcount and productivity.
• Own the leadership pipeline, succession architecture and executive assessment programmes for ExCo and board‑reporting roles.
• Define, promote and measure organisational culture, values and employee value proposition while championing DEI initiatives and employee engagement.
• Drive organisational design, change management and job architecture for major initiatives such as M&A integration, digital transformation and branch rationalisation.
• Oversee total rewards, compensation governance and compliance with regulatory obligations.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strategic thinker with ability to align people strategy with overall business objectives.
• Strong track record in succession planning, leadership development and board‑level advisory.
• Expertise in organisational effectiveness, change management and talent analytics.
