Human Resources Intern

About the role

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team at Homes Universal LTD in Nairobi, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee administration. This full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience in HR processes within the real‑estate sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding processes.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
• Support payroll input preparation, attendance, and leave tracking.
• Prepare HR letters, reports, and staff communications.
• Support employee relations, disciplinary documentation, and HR compliance activities.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year post‑campus experience in an HR support role.
• Basic knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and use HRIS systems.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between KES 20,000 and KES 25,000.
• Full‑time, on‑site position in Nairobi’s Westlands area.
