About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves managing the full employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with Kenyan labour legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to the Kenyan Employment Act and internal HR policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Valid Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) qualification.
- Minimum three years of experience in an HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment law and HR best practices.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS).
