About the role

The school seeks an enthusiastic Visual Arts teacher to deliver IB MYP and DP programmes, inspiring students to develop strong artistic portfolios.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver Visual Arts lessons aligned with MYP Arts and DP Visual Arts frameworks.
Guide students in creating Studio Work, Comparative Study, and Process Portfolio for DP and MYP unit planners.
Foster critical and contextual thinking through exposure to diverse artistic traditions and contemporary practices.
Assess student work using MYP criteria and DP assessment requirements, providing timely feedback.
Maintain a safe, well‑resourced art studio and organise school art exhibitions and displays.
Collaborate with Arts and Humanities colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Contribute to pastoral duties, co‑curricular activities, and the wider school community.

Required profile

Mid‑level qualification with at least 36 months (3 years) of relevant teaching experience.
Strong knowledge of IB MYP and DP Visual Arts curricula.
