ICT & Data Officer

About the role

The ICT & Data Officer will lead the technical setup, configuration and administration of Peek technology and support the programme’s digital health initiatives. This role ensures secure, reliable data handling and provides first‑line technical assistance to project teams and remote users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the setup, configuration, administration and ongoing performance of Peek Technology.
• Provide first‑line technical support to project teams and remote users, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Maintain security, integrity and appropriate use of project devices and data.
• Collaborate with the M&E officer to develop and improve eye, ear and hearing data collection tools.
• Support data entry into KHIS and other government systems and lead training and user onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in IT support/helpdesk, including ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Public health experience in eye health, ear and hearing or digital health programmes.
• Willingness to work extensively in the field and travel to implementation sites.
