ICT Manager

About the role

The ICT Manager leads the development and execution of the company's Information and Communication Technology strategy, ensuring that digital infrastructure supports long-term business goals. The role provides strategic guidance on the use of technology across all business functions, drives innovation and operational efficiency, and safeguards digital assets. It is a full-time position based in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with the client's long-term vision, and collaborate with senior leadership to integrate IT into the broader corporate strategy
• Lead digital transformation, optimize IT infrastructure and develop data-driven business intelligence strategies
• Design a cybersecurity framework, oversee disaster recovery plans and ensure compliance with IT governance and legal requirements
• Guide the development of the web presence and user experience
• Lead a high-performing ICT team, build internal talent pipelines and work closely with other departments
• Establish IT performance metrics, conduct regular IT audits and develop IT policies and infrastructure plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science or a related field
• Diploma in database management systems is an added advantage
• 7 to 8 years of experience, including 3 years in management
