ICT Trainer / Technician

About the role

We are seeking an ICT Trainer/Technician to deliver high-quality information technology training to our students and maintain the institute’s computer facilities. The role combines classroom instruction with hands‑on technical support, ensuring a reliable learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ICT training sessions to students, covering both theory and practical exercises.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software across campus labs.
• Provide first‑line user support, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage computer laboratories, ensuring equipment is functional and up‑to‑date.
• Assist with network administration and enforce system security policies.
• Maintain ICT inventory, track equipment, and oversee regular data backups.
• Support the implementation of digital learning initiatives and new educational technologies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in ICT training or technical support.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional ICT certifications are an advantage.
