In-Store Sales Representative – Nairobi

About the role

Our client, a leading Kenyan fashion and lifestyle retail brand, is looking for stylish, confident, customer‑focused In‑Store Sales Representatives to join its retail team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves delivering an exceptional shopping experience, promoting products and meeting sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional, friendly manner.
• Understand customer preferences and recommend suitable fashion items.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and store presentation.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets through effective promotion, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Follow up with customers after purchase and inform them about new arrivals, promotions and special offers.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system and enroll customers in the loyalty program.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure merchandise is properly arranged and displayed.
• Provide feedback on customer preferences, buying trends and support management in improving store performance.

Required profile

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• 1–2 years of retail sales or customer‑service experience preferred.
• Experience in fashion retail is an advantage.
• Well‑groomed, presentable and able to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Good organization, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
