Information Communication Technology Officer (Level 2)

About the role

Kenya Medical Training College is recruiting an Information Communication Technology Officer at Level 2 (AN-Scale KMTC 9) based in Nairobi, Westlands. The role covers the analysis, design, testing and implementation of ICT applications, together with system maintenance, user support and training.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test and implement ICT applications
• Maintain and support ICT systems
• Provide advanced user support and train end users on ICT systems
• Repair and maintain ICT equipment, and receive, install, certify and configure it
• Maintain and update websites and portals
• Configure and maintain local area networks and wide area networks
• Update and maintain the ICT equipment inventory
• Prepare ICT technical specifications, user manuals and documentation
• Escalate faults for further action

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Security and Forensics, Business Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
