Infrastructure and Applications Specialist

About the role

The Infrastructure and Applications Specialist will manage and optimise Serena Hotels’ Microsoft 365 environment and Azure cloud infrastructure, supporting the full lifecycle of key business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 users, licences, permissions, security settings and conduct regular reviews of privileged access and data protection.
• Manage, monitor and optimise Azure infrastructure and central cloud services for availability, performance, security and business continuity.
• Support regional IT teams, coordinate with Microsoft partners and cloud service providers.
• Define business needs, assess solutions, prepare project costs and business cases, and lead implementation, testing, deployment and training.
• Provide second‑line support for cloud services and business applications, develop user guides and training materials, and produce reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience implementing and supporting business applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Sophos firewalls is an advantage.
• Project management experience or relevant professional certification is a plus.
