Infrastructure & Networking SME (GCP / Apigee)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Networking SME with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud networking, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and the Apigee platform. The role involves designing, provisioning and managing secure cloud landing zones and networking environments that support enterprise API management and federated architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and provision secure GCP landing zones for enterprise environments.
• Configure and manage GCP networking components such as VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, load balancers, Private Service Connect and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Implement IAM policies and cloud security best practices, including Cloud Armor and secure landing zone architecture.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Support deployment and networking requirements for Apigee Developer Portal and federated multi‑environment architectures.
• Deploy and manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps and application teams for environment provisioning, troubleshooting and CI/CD automation.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, high availability, monitoring and security compliance.

Required profile

• 7+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure and networking.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and deep expertise in GCP networking and security.
• Prior experience delivering enterprise‑scale GCP implementations.
