Innovation Intern – Market Research & Project Support

About the role

The Innovation Intern will support Britam’s innovation team by conducting market research, assisting project coordination, and helping evaluate new product pilots. This full‑time temporary role offers hands‑on exposure to insurance innovation and financial inclusion initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry scanning; support customer insight surveys and data collection.
• Prepare research summaries, insights, and contribute to presentation materials.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, and reporting tools; coordinate meetings, workshops, and partner engagements.
• Assist in testing product pilots, gathering feedback, and monitoring performance; help draft product briefs and evaluation reports.
• Compile dashboards, reports, and performance metrics; support impact measurement and analytics.
• Maintain innovation documentation, learning repositories, and organize related templates and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or final year) in Business, Economics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Finance, Project Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in insurance, financial inclusion, sustainability or innovation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
