Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

The company is launching an insurance agency and seeks a dynamic, results‑oriented Insurance Sales Agent to set up, promote and sell insurance products. You will be responsible for building a client portfolio, identifying new business opportunities and providing professional guidance on insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
• Promote and sell the company’s insurance products to prospective and existing clients.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Conduct client consultations to understand insurance needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Generate leads through referrals, networking, market research and direct sales.
• Prepare and present insurance quotations and proposals.
• Follow up on leads and quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, sales activities and prospects.
• Monitor customer portfolios for cross‑selling and upselling opportunities.
• Provide timely customer service and stay updated on market developments and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular sales reports and feedback on market opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Insurance or a related discipline.
• Valid Certificate of Proficiency registration or other professional registration.
• Proven experience in insurance sales (minimum 24 months).
• Mid‑level experience with a customer‑focused mindset.
