Insurance Sales Representative – Nairobi

About the role

K-Unity Sacco is seeking dynamic Insurance Sales Representatives to join its Nairobi office. Reporting to the Assistant Insurance Manager, you will promote a full suite of insurance products to individuals and groups, driving lead generation and policy sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert potential clients through phone, email, face‑to‑face and digital outreach.
• Arrange and conduct product demonstrations and policy presentations.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing members to ensure high retention.
• Guide clients on premium payment structures that align with their financial goals.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing feedback to refine sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to cross‑sell complementary products.
• Complete all sales paperwork, KYC documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Insurance or related field.
• Mandatory Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance.
• Prior experience in insurance sales, banking, SACCOs or financial services is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
