Inventory Officer – eMobility

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Officer for our eMobility division to own the end‑to‑end tracking, receipt, movement and system recording of all mobility inventory as we scale across Kenya. The role is the operational backbone ensuring every unit, serial number and battery is captured in real time and remains auditable.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming stock from OEMs, count units, reconcile against purchase orders and receipt them in D365 with serial numbers, chassis numbers and item codes.
• Process outbound issues, transfers, returns and adjustments through D365 and Zoho CRM, preparing all related documentation.
• Maintain real‑time updates of all stock movements across systems, targeting ≥99 % stock accuracy.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, support monthly full physical stock takes and submit variance reports within SLAs.
• Manage stock returns, including battery assessment and refurbishment lifecycle, and oversee free‑trial/loaner bike inventory.
• Ensure timely receipting of purchase orders, maintain complete transaction documentation and generate daily inventory reports.
• Support finance with monthly stock reconciliations and maintain audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented inventory professional with hands‑on ERP experience.
• High ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis of stock discrepancies.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for inventory management.
• Zoho CRM for stock movement processing.
• General ERP system proficiency.
