Inventory Officer – Mobility Division

About the role

The Mobility Inventory Officer will be the operational backbone of stock accuracy for M‑KOPA’s Mobility division in Kenya. You will own the end‑to‑end tracking, receipt, movement and system recording of all electric motorcycle inventory, ensuring data is clean, auditable and up‑to‑date in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and receipt all inbound stock from OEMs in Microsoft Dynamics 365, capturing serial numbers, chassis numbers and item codes.
• Process outbound issues, transfers, returns and adjustments through D365 and Zoho CRM, preparing all required documentation.
• Maintain real‑time stock updates across systems, targeting ≥99% accuracy, and conduct regular cycle counts and monthly full physical stock takes.
• Manage battery and loaner bike returns, oversee refurbishment lifecycle and ensure accurate re‑entry into available stock.
• Generate daily inventory reports, support finance with month‑end reconciliations and participate in internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in inventory management or stock control.
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles such as FIFO, serial/batch tracking and cycle counting.
