Investment Analyst

About the role

Triple Jump is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Direct Investments team in Nairobi. You will work on the full investment cycle for equity and debt investments targeting energy access and climate solutions across Sub‑Saharan Africa and India.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, appraise, process, and monitor investments in companies operating within the access‑to‑energy and climate ecosystem.
• Support internal decision‑making, client relationship management, and day‑to‑day operational activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to conduct sector and business‑model analysis.
• Travel frequently to investee sites and stakeholder meetings in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, business consulting or related internships.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Understanding of private‑capital investment processes and sector analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of economic and social development challenges in Africa.
