Investment Associate - Infrastructure and Renewable Energy

About the role

Inuka is working with an investment firm focused on infrastructure and renewable energy across emerging markets, which is seeking an Investment Associate to support its investment activities from its Nairobi office. The role covers financial modelling, investment analysis, due diligence and transaction execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and project returns.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuations and investment assessments.
• Support due diligence and transaction execution across infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and internal reports.
• Conduct market research and assess potential investment opportunities.
• Work with internal teams, external advisers and project stakeholders throughout the investment process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Up to 4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure or renewable energy.
• Experience analysing infrastructure or renewable energy investments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in Nairobi, Kenya.
