iPOS Field Sales Agent – Customer Onboarding & Support

About the role

The iPOS Field Sales Agent will be responsible for bringing new customers onto the iPOS mobile point‑of‑sale platform and ensuring they receive effective training and ongoing support. This role focuses on the agricultural and SME market in Kenya, helping businesses digitise sales, inventory and forecasting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential iPOS customers within the assigned geographic area.
• Explain iPOS benefits, encourage subscriptions and accurately profile new customers.
• Collaborate with partners and value‑chain stakeholders to build a strong customer pipeline and drive upselling.
• Set up the iPOS platform on customer devices, deliver hands‑on training and provide regular on‑site support.
• Maintain high customer retention by proactively addressing needs and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Document activities, progress and challenges in clear reports for supervisors.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area for customer visits.
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide timely solutions.
• Proactive attitude toward problem solving and follow‑up.
