IT Services & Infrastructure Officer

About the role

The IT Services & Infrastructure Officer will oversee the end‑to‑end operation of Kilimall’s digital and physical IT environment. This role ensures reliable connectivity, supports warehouse and office technology, and safeguards security across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage website operations, power, network and internet connectivity across all locations.
• Maintain LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, UPS and backup systems; coordinate with ISPs.
• Provide on‑site IT support for warehouse management systems, scanners and printers.
• Set up, configure and troubleshoot office computers, printers and network devices.
• Maintain CCTV infrastructure, ensure proper recording, storage and retrieval for investigations.
• Administer user accounts, access rights, onboarding/off‑boarding and enforce password policies.
• Supervise a small IT team, deliver training on internal systems and develop SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure or support, preferably in multi‑site or warehouse environments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on troubleshooting of networks and hardware.
• Experience with routers, switches and firewalls.
• Familiarity with power backup systems such as UPS and generators.
• Knowledge of CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of IT security and access‑control mechanisms.
