IT Specialist – Clinic Technology & Digital Media

About the role

The IT Specialist will support Tibu Health’s clinic technology and digital communications. You will ensure reliable IT infrastructure, provide day‑to‑day technical assistance, and create on‑brand digital content for patient education and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clinicians and administrative staff, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, scanners, phones and other devices.
• Manage user accounts, software updates, backups, equipment inventory and ensure network uptime for wired and wireless connections.
• Support EHR/EMR, practice‑management, scheduling, billing and telehealth systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare privacy regulations.
• Create and edit graphics, videos and promotional materials using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro, and schedule content across social media platforms.
• Document technical issues, procedures and system changes; assist with onboarding and staff training.

Required profile

• Diploma, associate degree or equivalent experience in IT, computer science, digital media or a related field.
• Proven experience providing technical support, preferably in a healthcare or small‑business environment.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, networking and endpoint security.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
• Experience managing social‑media accounts and creating digital content.
• Understanding of healthcare privacy, confidentiality and data‑security practices.
