IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure smooth operation of computer systems, software, networks, and other technology equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to employees and users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and IT equipment.
• Set up user accounts, devices, printers, and other peripherals.
• Monitor and troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
• Respond to support requests via email, phone, or helpdesk system.
• Maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and equipment.
• Assist with system updates, backups, security checks, and software installations.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT teams or external vendors.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding by managing user access.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
• Familiarity with Windows and common productivity applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
