ITOM Configuration Specialist – ServiceNow CMDB Health Administrator

About the role

The ITOM Configuration Specialist will act as the ServiceNow CMDB Health Administrator, ensuring the Configuration Management Database remains accurate, complete, and compliant. You will monitor health metrics, remediate data issues, and support the technology organization’s configuration management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Track CMDB health scorecard across Correctness, Completeness, and Compliance KPIs.
• Identify and resolve duplicate, orphaned, or stale configuration items.
• Set thresholds, define health groups, and configure data certification audits.
• Align CI classes with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and optimise data from ServiceNow Discovery.
• Govern CI relationships, manage access policies, and maintain security over class definitions within the ServiceNow CMDB Workspace.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and configuration management principles.
• Experience working with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery tools.
