Junior Accounts Manager – Finance Support

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accounts Manager to join a leading company in advertising, film and television. In this role you will support day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring invoices, expenses and payments are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain supplier accounts by matching purchase orders, reconciling statements and resolving queries.
• Raise client invoices, monitor debtors and support timely collections.
• Keep financial records up to date, including ledgers, employee expenses and credit‑card activity.
• Assist with financial reports, statements, budgets and management insights.
• Support month‑end and year‑end processes to ensure accurate financial outputs.
• Work with internal teams to gather financial data and ensure policy compliance.
• Help compile documentation for VAT and audit preparation, maintaining audit‑ready records.
• Contribute to finance projects and provide flexible support across the team.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or prior exposure to accounting or finance.
• Strong numerical ability, analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing workload independently while collaborating with a small finance team.
• Ability to balance multiple deadlines and stay organised in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn, develop and grow a career in finance, with an interest in TV and entertainment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage 50).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
