About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Associate Advocate to join our legal and advisory team, focusing on environmental, conservation and climate change law in Kenya and the wider East African region. The role combines substantive legal work with knowledge development and client advisory, offering a high‑output environment for early‑career lawyers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous legal research across environmental, conservation and climate change matters.
- Prepare first‑level drafts of legal documents, opinions, and client‑facing publications.
- Manage procedural and filing obligations for multiple practice areas.
- Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base and develop client‑oriented content.
- Support the design and delivery of training programmes for internal and external audiences.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer with 1–4 years post‑qualification experience.
- Strong technical legal skills and a genuine commitment to environmental and conservation issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
