Junior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Junior Procurement Officer will support Ikwetta Holdings Limited’s purchasing activities, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently and cost‑effectively to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive procurement requisitions, source and compare at least three supplier quotations, and prepare recommendation summaries for approval.
• Create and issue purchase orders in the ERP system, verify approvals, and track order status to guarantee delivery within 24 hours of approval.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers, follow up on deliveries, resolve minor issues, and keep supplier contact information up to date.
• Coordinate with store and inventory teams to monitor stock levels, verify received goods against purchase orders, and assist in timely replenishment.
• Record all procurement transactions in the ERP system, maintain supplier profiles, and generate required procurement reports.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification.
• Up to 12 months of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Ability to work accurately under tight timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for purchase order creation and data management.
