About the role

The Kitchen Cleaning / Stewarding Supervisor leads the stewarding team to ensure the kitchen environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. This role is pivotal in maintaining smooth operations for dishwashing, pot washing, waste management, and overall kitchen hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule stewarding staff across all cleaning and waste management activities.
• Coordinate dishwashing and pot washing processes to guarantee timely availability of clean equipment.
• Maintain proper storage, cleaning, and readiness of kitchen utensils, equipment, and service ware.
• Enforce HACCP, sanitation, and occupational health and safety standards throughout the kitchen.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in stewarding or kitchen operations, including supervisory duties.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.
