Knowledge Management Consultant – Gender Equality (12‑month remote)

About the role

This assignment aims to strengthen UNICEF’s knowledge management on gender equality and support the implementation of the UGEAP 2026–2029. The consultant will develop, curate and disseminate gender‑related knowledge products, facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building, and promote mutual learning across UNICEF to improve the visibility, accessibility and use of gender‑related tools, evidence and good practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, curate and disseminate gender‑related knowledge products and evidence.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity‑building activities across UNICEF teams.
• Promote mutual learning to improve visibility and accessibility of gender tools and best practices.
• Organise and deliver webinars and training sessions on gender‑focused knowledge management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Communications, International Development or a related field (required).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in knowledge management, digital collaboration platforms (SharePoint/Teamsite) or communications, preferably within the UN system or international development.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset.
• Advanced university degree in a relevant field is a plus.
