Knowledge Management Consultant – Gender Equality (Remote, 12 months)

About the role

This 12‑month remote consultancy supports UNICEF’s Global Programme Division Gender Equality Team by strengthening knowledge management on gender equality and helping implement the Gender Equality Action Plan 2026‑2029.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, curate and disseminate gender‑related knowledge products and evidence.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity‑building sessions and webinars across UNICEF.
• Promote mutual learning to improve visibility, accessibility and use of gender‑related tools, good practices and research.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in knowledge management, digital collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint/Teamsite) or communications, preferably within the UN system or international development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Communications, International Development or related field; advanced degree is an asset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• Strong information architecture and content design capabilities.
• Experience organizing and delivering webinars or training sessions.
• Excellent written communication skills.
