About the role
ChildFund Kenya is seeking a qualified consultant to reconcile its KRA tax ledger entries, ensuring alignment between the legacy system and the iTax system and maintaining compliance with Kenyan tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyse data from both the legacy and iTax ledger entries to identify discrepancies.
- Compare and reconcile the two ledgers, documenting any errors.
- Propose and implement necessary corrections or amendments in collaboration with KRA officials.
- Deliver a fully reconciled ledger report with verifiable documentation for approval.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of the KRA system and iTax platform.
- Proven experience (5‑9 years) in tax ledger reconciliation with client testimonials.
- Approved KRA Agent in good standing.
- Ability to comply with data protection and confidentiality policies.
