About the role

The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate will lead a 24‑month project to develop an AI‑driven data ingestion and automation system, complemented by a multilingual translation solution for safety checklists used in the energy sector. Based at Intebloc Limited’s premises in Aberdeen, the role bridges academic research and industry application.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI methods for safety‑critical data processing.
• Develop an automated pipeline for ingesting and translating safety checklist content.
• Collaborate with Intebloc engineers and University of Aberdeen researchers to deliver project milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage a personal development budget to support skill growth.

Required profile

• Ambitious Data Scientist or graduate with a strong interest in AI applications.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Aberdeen for the full project duration.
• Eligibility to meet UK Skilled Worker visa criteria if sponsorship is required.
