About the role
The Laboratory Technician will support scientific research and development activities within a lab environment, executing routine analyses and contributing to technological developments under supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Apply scientific research and development in a laboratory setting.
- Execute routine analyses using established methods and technologies.
- Assist in technological development projects as part of a team.
- Resolve technical problems using acquired expertise and precedent.
- Collaborate with business unit members and communicate findings to supervisors and internal teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Experience in engineering or technology.
- Laboratory work experience.
- Relevant experience in the oil and gas or energy/power industry.
Required skills
- Laboratory analysis techniques.
- Scientific research methodology.
