Learner – Cybersecurity

About the role

The Learner – Cybersecurity role supports the TS Systems Integration team by handling configurations, installations, and low‑complexity break/fix events. It is designed as an entry‑level position that guides the candidate toward associate‑level certification while building practical security and project skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with and eventually own portions of installations, break/fix incidents, and problem management throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with the Implementation Engineering team to meet client requirements, including configuration and installation tasks.
• Provide on‑site support during break/fix events and work closely with other team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 12 months) with security technologies, technical support, and handling security incidents end‑to‑end.
• Strong learning orientation, good verbal communication, and client‑service focus.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of technical design principles and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms – at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with security controls such as firewalls, SIEM, NAC, IDS/IPS, EDR, NDR, UTM, proxy, SOAR, and honeypots.
• Understanding of application design concepts and project execution fundamentals.
