About the role
Maseno University is seeking a Lecturer in Sociology at Grade Twelve (12) level. The position involves delivering academic lectures, conducting research, and supervising students within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver academic lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct original research in the field of Sociology and publish findings.
- Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
Required profile
- Earned PhD or equivalent in Sociology from a recognized university.
- Master’s degree in Sociology or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology or a related field.
- Minimum of 24 publication points, with at least 16 points from refereed journal papers.
- Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
