About the role
The Line Cook role at Orbital Kitchen is designed for a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, growing kitchen environment. You will work across multiple stations on both AM and PM shifts, contributing to contemporary dishes inspired by diverse ethnic cuisines.
Key responsibilities
- Set up stations with all necessary supplies and ensure proper storage rotation.
- Prepare menu items in cooperation with the broader kitchen team across all stations.
- Operate fry, griddle, garde‑manger, or expediting stations as needed.
- Report operational needs, equipment issues, or areas for improvement to management.
Required profile
- Self‑starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Team player comfortable working flexible AM or PM shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the food industry.
- Ability to follow recipes, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to safety standards.
Required skills
- Knife skills.
