Litigation Attorney – Multiple US Locations

About the role

Witherite Law Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its personal injury team in one of several U.S. locations (Atlanta, Fort Worth, Dallas or Chicago). The attorney will manage full‑scale personal injury cases from filing through trial, providing dedicated representation for clients injured in motor vehicle accidents.

Key responsibilities

• Handle personal injury files from inception to trial, including filing lawsuits, drafting discovery, taking depositions and presenting cases in court.
• Lead and supervise a litigation team of five or more staff members.
• Interact regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, colleagues and opposing counsel.
• Conduct pre‑litigation case management and negotiate settlements.
• Develop expertise in commercial motor vehicle and trucking litigation, with the goal of obtaining board certification in truck accident law.

Required profile

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
• Minimum three years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Westlaw legal research platform.
• Proficiency with Lexis‑Nexis legal research platform.
