Litigation Paralegal (On-site, Nairobi)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in Nairobi. The role involves managing case activities, preparing legal documents, and providing litigation support in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, letters, and other legal documents.
• Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and organize case files using case management and document management systems.
• Conduct legal research and gather supporting information for ongoing matters.
• Assist attorneys with hearing, deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Manage case calendars, deadlines, appointments, and litigation timelines.
• Communicate with clients regarding case updates and required documentation.
• Track and manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
• Ensure legal records, filings, and case documentation are maintained accurately and timely.
• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Minimum 1.5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
