Logistics Operator – Contract (Davie/Fort Lauderdale)

About the role

This contract position supports warehouse, shipping and receiving operations at our Davie and Fort Lauderdale facilities. The Logistics Operator ensures accurate inventory tracking, prepares shipments, and assists with hazardous‑material handling.

Key responsibilities

• Receive intercompany purchase orders and process volume and manifest transactions.
• Put away parts, organize stock, and perform cycle counts.
• Arrange deliveries, generate shipping documents (AWB, invoice, SLI) and handle both domestic and international shipments.
• Perform skip‑lot and UOM conversions using wireless scanners.
• Execute stock transfers, labeling, packing/re‑packing, and return of repaired material.
• Assist with emergency situations such as SAP outages or urgent part expediting.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0‑2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (entry‑level).
• Forklift certification and ability to operate machinery and power‑tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual preferred.
