LPG Marketing Implementer – East & Southern Africa

About the role

A leading Oil Marketing Company operating across East and Southern Africa, which sells LPG in cylinders to domestic customers and in bulk to commercial and industrial customers, is recruiting an LPG Marketing Implementer. The role plans, coordinates and supports marketing initiatives across Retail, Commercial & Industrial and Distributor channels, ensuring consistent brand execution, supporting product launches and campaigns, and growing market share. It is based in Nairobi with regional travel across East and Southern Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure consistent brand standards across all LPG touchpoints and coordinate distributor and dealer signage
• Coordinate national and regional campaigns, including the regional clean cooking agenda, and monitor performance
• Develop trade marketing programmes and promotional toolkits for distributors and dealers, and support dealer activations, roadshows and exhibitions
• Manage marketing calendars, suppliers, printers, branding contractors and agencies, and track budgets
• Monitor market trends, run customer satisfaction surveys and track competitors
• Support digital marketing, including social media content and website updates
• Coordinate exhibitions, trade fairs, dealer conferences, product demonstrations, customer appreciation events and CSR activities
• Develop brochures, sales kits and sales tools such as points-of-sale mapping and distributor performance assessments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• Minimum of five years' experience in a marketing role
• Experience in oil and gas or FMCG is an advantage; experience coordinating campaigns across multiple markets is also an advantage
• Willingness and ability to travel across the region
