Maintenance Technician – Electrical

About the role

Burn is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician – Electrical to keep its manufacturing plant running smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including transformers, circuit breakers, and motor control circuits.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and control systems.
• Program, calibrate, and test PLC‑based control panels.
• Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare performance reports.
• Interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Coordinate with MRO stores to manage electrical spares.
• Work on a shift basis to support continuous plant operations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial/manufacturing electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
