Management Trainee – Aspire Future Leaders Program (HR)

About the role

The Aspire Future Leaders Program offers a Management Trainee position in Human Resources at Aga Khan University Hospital. This full‑time, entry‑level role provides hands‑on experience across core HR functions while supporting strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review HR processes, systems and global best practices to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support executive search and talent acquisition through market research, talent mapping and industry analysis.
• Participate in Learning & Development activities, including training coordination and internship support.
• Assist the Office of Wellbeing, Employee Engagement and Belonging in designing and delivering employee‑focused programs.
• Contribute to projects on process automation, system enhancements and operational efficiency.
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting to generate workforce insights and inform HR analytics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance employee experience, organisational culture and business performance.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably ongoing in Human Resources or a related field.
• Maximum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• Residency in Kenya or permission to work in the country.
