About the role
The Manager – IT Networks is responsible for ensuring that Safaricom’s network infrastructure—including LAN, Wi‑Fi, WAN, Internet connectivity, security perimeters—as well as IP telephony and video services operate reliably to support business operations. The role reports to the Senior Manager – Converged Network Support.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the continuous operation of LAN, Wi‑Fi, WAN, Internet and security perimeter components.
- Maintain the availability and performance of IP telephony and video communication services.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager – Converged Network Support to align network activities with business requirements.
- Identify and resolve network issues to minimise impact on users.
