Manager – Practice Centre of Excellence

About the role

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya is establishing a Practice Centre of Excellence (PCoE) to raise audit quality and deepen practitioner competence. As the Manager of the PCoE, you will lead daily operations and ensure the delivery of high‑impact training programmes for audit practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the Practice Centre of Excellence and oversee seamless delivery of training programmes.
• Develop and implement practical training that addresses gaps identified in ICPAK’s Quality Assurance Reviews.
• Oversee the Certification Course for Preparers of Financial Statements in Kenya.
• Participate in technical forums, develop CPD training concept notes, and respond to exposure drafts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA‑K) and member of ICPAK.
• At least 7 years’ experience in external audit and assurance, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
