Manager, Strategy (Africa Region)

About the role

Evidence Action is seeking a Manager, Strategy for its Africa Region. The role will translate the regional strategic plan and OKRs into actionable work plans, monitor delivery, and provide analysis to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout and execution of the Africa Region’s strategy, including planning cycles and performance tracking.
• Develop and maintain work plans, dashboards, and reporting materials for the EVP, Chief of Staff, and senior regional leaders.
• Coordinate cross‑country initiatives and special projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Partner with the Chief of Staff to manage strategy communication and stakeholder updates.
• Analyze performance data to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of relevant experience in strategy, planning, or project management.
• Senior‑level professional with strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Experience working in NGOs, international development, or global health environments is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, data‑driven setting.
