About the role

Blue Ventures is seeking a Marine Spatial Data Analyst on a maternity cover basis. The position is remote, supporting the organisation’s work with coastal communities to restore oceans and manage fisheries.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical stewardship of Blue Ventures’ marine spatial datasets.
Maintain and update spatial data repositories.
Support data‑driven decision‑making for coastal projects.

Required profile

Experience working with spatial data in marine or environmental contexts.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

Spatial data management.

What we offer

One‑year fixed‑term contract.
Remote work from home.
Salary range depending on location (e.g., 4,015,965‑7,871,291 KES per year).
