Market Access Lead – Health Program

About the role

The Market Access Lead will report to the Business Development and Marketing Manager and will drive the marketing and uptake of medical laboratory commodities under the Access to Health program across Kenya. The role combines product expertise, customer support, and strategic market analysis to improve access to quality health products.

Key responsibilities

• Detail products under the Access to Health program to generate prescriptions.
• Collaborate with Field Officers, integrating technical expertise with sales approaches to boost patient enrolment for the Boehringer Access to Health program.
• Coordinate CMEs and training initiatives for customers and internal teams to maintain high standards of product knowledge and drive enrolment.
• Visit customer locations to conduct real‑world product demonstrations, showcasing value and supporting sales.
• Collect and document customer feedback during and after product use to inform product development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a health science (e.g., Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory) with marketing experience, or a Business degree in Marketing/Management with a relevant health‑related diploma.
• Registration with the appropriate regulatory professional body.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Sales/Marketing Executive.
• Own vehicle and a clean driving licence with at least two years of continuous driving experience.
